Ultimate sigh. Another Monday. Something about a rainy Monday that just takes it out of me. It’s the longest period before another weekend, and rain means no soccer either. Sigh super sigh. ???????????????????????????????????????????????????
Here’s a great clip from the Daily Show. 8 separate Presidents, 8 separate pledges and lofty rhetoric. So we’ll probably still be talking about this in another 50 years time.

Season 4 of the Guild premieres tonight. Here’s a preview.
Hehehehe…the wait is over.
Warning: this is not a post about sighing…rather anticipation.
Anticipation…or more precisely sublime anticipation
To me anticipation is the moment before the milestone moments occur. They are the moments before the anxiety, worry and what ifs…set in when a decision has been made/an opportunity is seized/a chance taken.
To me, these are the moments I live for….when dreams can be dreamt, ideas can be made, plans can be hatched and when I am at my most excitable.
Certainly, as things unfold there are bound to be disappoints and expectations broken…however, in those moments before reality hits….it is sublime anticipation.
And to Rui….today is the sweetest of anticipations.
I really did not like Spain. They played a dull brand of possession football. Sure the skill was there but they choked the life out of a game with low tempo side way passes until the opposition make a mistake. How many 1-0 wins is that?
I think this guy says it best:
Do Spain have the same PR people as Bill Clinton? That people dare mention them in the same breath as some of the great attacking World Cup sides in history offends me. Lowest scoring team to ever win the World Cup, and probably the dullest.
I also exchanged contracts on an apartment.
So I am sick for the first time in a while. :p
I blame it on the shockingly cold house I reside in. I have a day off which is OK, but spent feeling shitty.
I want to rail against the GPs in my area. Couldn’t get an appointment until really late, faced with reception who act as if I should feel privileged to even see a Dr, and a Dr who doesn’t see new patients ontop of masisve gap. Impressibe? No.
